The Beach and Other Things

Work this past week went well; picked up a bit on Thursday and Friday due to the arrival of a new month. Thursday also marked 8 months that I've lived here in St. Pete.

With such a great weather forcast for the weekend, we decided to head to the beach on Saturday afternoon. It was a beautiful day to be there. Only managed to get red on the top of my left foot. Go figure!

Guessing these guys were setting up for a wedding ceremony.

We spent about 3 hours on the beach then headed over to Philthy Phil's for lunch. The yellow 'X' marks the table we sat at inside.

I had the crab cakes. Sooooooooo good!

Looking across the channel from the parking lot. That is the St Pete Beach area on the left and the southern tip of Treasure Island on the right.

Went for a long walk along the bay on Sunday afternoon and into downtown. Didn't bring my camera so missed some photo ops. There was a Spring Garden Tour going on this afternoon in my neighborhood. Sorry we didn't plan ahead to go on it. On the walk we passed some of the houses and it looked like it would have been nice to do.

We ended up downtown and stopped at Paciugo for some gelato and sorbet. I had chocolate sorbet and rose sorbet.
