Adele Visits Tampa Bay

Adele finally got to spend some time on the beach!  YAY!  After she arrived this morning (Tuesday, September 14) we headed over to Clearwater Beach.  We parked near Frenchy's on the beach, and walked down along the beach to the pier.  What a beautiful day!  Sun, calm surf, warm water and white sand!  We headed back up to Frenchy's and had lunch there, refreshing salads.

This sea turtle came out of no where and attacked Adele!
She calmed him down and made a new friend for life!
I think he was afraid of me.
Loving the sunshine and white sand and warm surf.
Cool, refreshing water and diet coke . . .

Nice breeze from the Gulf.
Look refreshing or what?
Great way to spend the early afternoon!
After we left Clearwater Beach, we drove down Gulf Boulevard along all the beaches down to John's Pass . . . Sand Key, Belleair Beach, Belleair Shore, Indian Rocks Beach, Indian Shores, Redington Shores, N. Redington Beach, Redington Beach, Madeira Beach.  Traffic was practically nil, and it was a nice leisurely drive, admiring all the different flavors of each beach area.
This was one of the security guards at John's Pass.  He looks a bit parched.
Trouble just seems to find this lady!
We spent a while browsing the shops in John's Pass and on the Boardwalk.
Thinking of following the "sweet trade".

We joined the boys at Georgie's to celebrate Pete's birthday . . .
