The busy last weekend of June actually began on Thursday night. Wayne bought this new pizza book and took a recipe from there to make a pizza. He made the dough too! Sauteed spinach, cheeses, including ricotta. Delicious!
On Friday afternoon I left for Teidtke Hall at Rollins College in Orlando to see the Showcase from the Performing Arts Institute Summer Camp Program. Gina took part in a three week program there. Some casting directors from Broadway come in during the camp and they auditioned for them. Gina struck some interest there! Watch out Great White Way! Joe and Joy are visiting from NYC and Linda and Louie are visiting from Albany, so we had a mini reunion! I hadn't seen them since last August when I moved to St. Pete.
Of course, I may be biased, but Gina had the show stopping number! She sang Gimme, Gimme from Thoroughly Modern Millie and it was FANTASTIC!Afterwards we went to this little Italian restaurant, got lost on the way, of course. We had to wait a while for our table, but it was well worth it! Excellent food and personable service!
