This is my 5th Halloween living in Old Northeast. Linda, Louie and Regina came to experience it for the first time. After walking all around the neighborhood, they decided that next year they will come back in costume and crash at my place afterwards!
Friends Frank and Linda constructed this on their front lawn. Frank as 'student pilot', Linda, as flight instructor.
And look who was piloting the plane! F and L's friend looked very much like Todd . . .
It was a horrific scene!
And just up the next block, this house was preparing for a country hoedown.
Guests of honor.
Pink pumpkin pig and piglets
Welcome!
Prepping for the evenings performances.
Stay in line, please.
I am not afraid . . .
Anyone hungry?
They must have kissed and made up. Funny, though, Snow White had a tattoo on her arm.
No one leaves this place alive.
To the lifeboats!
Love the cotton candy machine!
I wish we could have spent Halloween like this up north!!!
For the first time since I've lived here, one of my neighbors sat out front and handed out candy!
Stopped by to see the boys. Lucky us, they had some adult chocolates!
Early evening street scene. As the night progressed, the streets and traffic got worse and worse.
Business was picking up at the hoedown.
Stopped by again at Frank's and Linda's.
Colorful evening.
The doughboy was still going strong. These neighbors were showing "Ghostbusters" on the side of the house.
Not quite sure about this one . . . decorated for Christmas, and young guy was sitting there playing his drums. Huh?
Crowds building for the circus shows.
Dirty birds
I stopped back at Frank's and Linda's with Pete and Joe and Evan and Lonnie. They offered us some lady fingers, but we politely declined.
