All Hallows Ball Tampa 2011

Last night was the 35th Annual All Hallows Ball in Tampa.  For the third year in a row, it was held at the Tampa Convention Center.  It was my fourth time attending!  [See 2008  and 2008  2009 2010 ]

It has been a busy weekend.  I found these limited edition "candy corn" M&Ms.  They are white chocolate with a hint of candy corn flavor.  As we were trying on our costumes for the party, we snacked on these.  There were eight of us in our group.  This year's theme was "Up in the Air".
After the fittings and later in the afternoon, we gathered at Pete's and Joe's for pizza and wine before heading over to Tampa.  And what could be more fitting than Blue Nun?

Here we are getting dressed in the parking garage.  These sisters were none too shy.
Dressed and ready to roll . . .

Greeting us as we headed in.

Our entrance . . . sort of like the rapture . . .

Sister Wayner constructed this portable wind contraption which gave us the lift we needed to get off the ground.

These balloon heads won one of the prizes too.

As did these hot air balloons, chatting with Joe and Pete.
