Another Beautiful Saturday Morning in Paradise

Such a beautiful day for a walk to downtown to the Saturday Morning Market.  Good day to be wearing shorts!  Lots of people out and about, both residents and visitors.

 There were lots of people at the market.  Not easy getting around all those strollers and dogs.

 Met RC, my soon to be neighbor in my apartment building.  He's helping his future mother-in-law with her cup cake booth.

Another Saturday, November 8

Another beautiful Saturday morning. Wayne had a 4 hour chorus rehearsal for their Christmas concert, so I took a nice walk down to the Saturday Market again.

This booth was new this week. Flowers made from clay. The petals are all hand painted. Some beautiful pieces.

These 'gold' sea creatures lines the walkway from the parking garage to Bay Walk in downtown.

I ran into Otto at the market so we hung around for a while. Always a fun time!

This is a rendering of the proposed waterfront ballpark. It's on the space where the Saturday Market and current ballpark is located.

This is a shot of the municipal swimming pool. It was a Twilight Zone eerie . . . all towels, flip flops, etc. but NO people and dead silence.

NOTE: Bedroom windows are wide open. Hmmm? November 8??

Saturday Morning Market

On Saturday morning the girls and I walked from my apartment to the Saturday Morning Market in downtown St. Pete. We walked over to Tampa Bay, and then down along the park and beach.

It was a beautiful morning. We each bought something different from the vendors for lunch. Mia had a dish from the Thai booth, Gina a sandwich from the BBQ booth, and I had a couple empanadas: one stuffed with egg, cheese and sausage, and the other with cream cheese and guava.

Along the walk back thru downtown, north up to Old NE neighborhood.

Mia and Gina thought maybe Luke would be spending some time in this time out area in the dog run.

I think everyone is sick of me taking pictures of our food to post on the blog . . . ya think?

After all that walking on Halloween and Saturday morning . . .
