The new Dali Museum officially opens today at 11 AM. I was fortunate to go to a pre-opening event on Sunday. What a wonderful addition to downtown St. Petersburg!

Linda and Louie arrived back in Florida for their escape from winter up north. This marks their second year of staying for three months. They're camped out in Bradenton, about a 40 minute drive from me.
We spent the afternoon together yesterday, visiting Mazzaro's, and then over to Treasure Island and John's Pass. We spent a cool 5 minutes on the beach! Brrrrrrrrr! Then walked around John's Pass, then back to Treasure and dinner at Foxy's. It is nice to have them close for the winter months! And Ray and Iz plan a visit at the end of February. The Linda Raymond Kids will ride again!

Pete and Joe had a gathering for New Year's Eve. Alan, Phil, Wayne and I started the evening with homemade pizzas.
We headed to First Night in downtown St. Pete. There were lots of activities going on and thousands of people partaking. Alan's and Phil's dog, Cody, a standard poodle, accompanied us on our walk about. He's such a good doggie! Very friendly and easy going!
It was a beautiful night to be outside; somewhere in the 60s.
