A November Sunset

I had today off, so I spent the morning doing things around the apartment. I did some cleaning and dusting, talked on the computer with Russ in the Canary Islands, ordered my Reliv on the phone, put away the Halloween decorations (took me 2 minutes), threw out the remaining candy corn (OH NO!), and put the garbage out. Then I went to Publix to get some groceries; I bought a lot of 'buy one, get one free' things that I usually get. Saved almost $30 on a $68 bill!

I decided to make the most of the beautiful cooler weather and head over to Sunset Beach in the afternoon. Just after I got there Wayne met me.

The air got really cool while the sun was setting!
Afterwards we headed back to my place, had dinner and watched Flash Forward. Love that show!

Tuesday Evening Walk

This coming weekend will mark the first anniversary of my move to Saint Petersburg. I cannot believe a year has passed! We went thru a period of off and on again showers, so I curtailed my walks. The weather has gone back to mostly sunny days and few showers so I've been trying to get back to a regular walk.

These shots were taken on my walk along Tampa Bay in St. Pete and around the Vinoy Resort and into the Old NE section where I live.

I went for a loooooong walk last night, all the way out to the Pier. I didn't bring my camera and the sky at sunset was spectacular. I figured I'd try again tonight. The walk was a bit shorter, but the sky was again beautiful. These shots at the Bay are looking East, with the clouds reflecting the setting sun in the West.

Autumn Sunset

Sunset was around 5:37 pm.
In keeping with the season, and the 'crisp' nights, I thought I'd mention that my toes did get a little cold when I first put them in the water. The water temperature was around 65 degrees, I think. Brrrrrrr! Don't you just hate the cold? (Reminded me of a summer visit to the waters of Cape Cod!)

Isn't this funny? I saw this scene on my walk along the beach. I asked these girls if I could take their picture and they just giggled and posed!

Sunset Beach Sunset

Instead of taking my nightly walk along the Bay and the Bayou, I decided to see my first sunset from Sunset Beach. There was a beautiful balmybreeze blowing across from the Gulf, and there were row after row of waves...a beautiful experience.

This was looking south...the clouds and the colors were amazing!
