Mike and Katie Get Married

As part of my "Homecoming" weekend August 6-11), I went to Syracuse for Mike's and Katie's wedding. It was a BLAST!!!

We all had rooms at the Embassy Suites. It was a fun road trip!

We gathered at the "manager's social hour" before the rehearsal dinner.

Friday night we went to the rehearsal dinner at Rico's.

It was Italian family style . . . yummy!

Feast and Famine

Seems I haven't posted any pics of food lately. Here's a couple from my recent trip to Albany. The first is from dinner the night I arrived; at Linda's and Louie's.

Roller Baby Rap

My! Kids today learn things so quickly! Mine couldn't do this till they were 3 years old! And I was 16 before I could do this... and that was with training wheels!

Saturday Outing

Well, it finally happened. Wayne's company is closing. Most of the remaining employees were let go on Wednesday morning. It was nice of them to pay them for a full day though. (That's meant to be sarcastic; I couldn't find a face icon for sarcasm.) So Wayne and a couple of his close former co-workers decided to do a farewell, oh well dinner outing. We went to Valentino's (one of our favorite places for Italian.)

Afterwards, we went to downtown to get some gelato.

Decisions . . . Decisions . . . Decisions!

It was a beautiful night. I tried to catch a pic of the heat lightning over the Bay.

M-M-M Good!

Wayne made some homemade pesto with basil from his garden. I did my part and supplied the sun dried tomatoes courtesy of Costco. Two great chefs!
