Walk Along the Bay

Wayne and I took a walk along the Bay Sunday afternoon and into downtown St Pete.  Along the Bay we spotted a couple of dolphins close to shore.  Seems they were 'fishing' and coming right up to the sea wall.  Several times we could hear them 'snorting'.  At one point there was a partially eaten fish just below us in the water.  Soon we could hear a dolphin approaching and "chomp!" there it is!  You can see the fish in it's mouth and some blood in the water near the dorsal fin.

It's amazing to see them so close up!

This boat was chugging by to get a closer look.

People watching.

We took a walk over to downtown and sat in the park for a while.  The sun was hot but there was a nice breeze in the shade.

That's so cool that you got to see a dolphin so close! Someday I wanna swim with them. :)
